I think its clear from the blog that the most popular type of activity is Bike Riding. This is free to do and you can pretty much ride wherever you want. There are some great places to go such as Elvaston Castle and Markeaton Park. It’s a bit cold out there to go for a ride at the moment but when the summer comes it will be great to get back out there and enjoy the sun! I must remember to get my bike out, dust off the cobwebs and go for a ride too!

This competition is open to anyone aged between 9 and16 who lives in Derby City.  Lucky youngsters will be selected at random as the winners of the cool sports stuff and contacted by email when proof of age, address or attendance at one of the City’s schools will be required.  The winner will be required to take part in publicity.  Only serious and genuine entries will be entered into the draw.  The closing date has been extended to 31 January 2007.
